News direkt auf den Gefechtsscanner Puh - difficult startup gepostet von Bob am 14.12.2001, 21:45 OK just to sum it up a little. After Rantz joined already around 10:30 (19:30) the chat started getting crowded. Around 11:00 (20:00) we wanted to activate the moderated function - so that we could start with the fansite chat. In the meantime stormhound also joined. Shortly after 11:00 (20:00) there were around 50 users in the chat and the chat crashed. I also got somewhere at this point a bluescreen. So the whole log up to when was lost. After the chat crashed we opend on an irc-server a chat but the developers (QS) didn't have irc so they switched to their chat on delphi. But it has a limit of 20 users. It was quickly full. While this was going on the admins of chatcities brought the server/chat back up to work and also set a limit of 25 users. Since then the chat has been going on parallel. I'm logging both and will post it with some screenshots soon :) Kommentare (10)
